Simbras started business distributing PET preforms from Simko's Packaging Division, produced by its partner Cristalpet, in Montevideo.
During 2008, Simbras opened its Rubber Division. Focusing on imports and sales of natural rubber, synthetic rubber and rubber chemicals to the tire companies in Brazil. As well as sales to the main local distributors.
Since 1993 Simko S.A. developed the market for engineering plastics in Argentina, representing and markeing the products of one of the World's largest companies in this segment, Chi Mei Corporation. Since 2013, Simbras markets Chi Mei products in Brazil, with a very high digree of acceptance because of its excellent quality, and Simbras' multimodal logistics and local service, resulting in total customer satisfaction.
